MULTI-DAY TOURS OF SCOTLAND

MULTI-DAY TOURS OF SCOTLAND

Discover Orkney, Harris & Lewis, Royal Deeside and Ayrshire

Scotland may be small, but she is mighty, offering many incredible routes to explore. After 30 years travelling the country, it’s fair to say I’ve accrued my own extensive ‘guide book’ of wonderful places to visit.

My multi day tours are guaranteed to give you a real insight and true appreciation of Scotland. Journey through time, culture, landscapes and nature.

These are a few destinations I personally recommend visiting.

ORKNEY ISLANDS

Located off Scotland’s northeastern coast this archipelago dates back thousands of years. Discover the incredible Neolithic sites of Skara Brae and the Ring of Brodgar, both UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Stories of the island's intriguing Viking past are evident everywhere. Orkney has incredible landscapes and breathtaking coastal cliffs making it a haven for nature enthusiasts and birdwatchers. You’re guaranteed a warm welcome from the local communities. An enriching experience.

HARRIS & LEWIS

The islands are connected to each other by a narrow isthmus known as the ‘Golden Road’. Harris is located in the south and Lewis in the north. They both offer unparalleled island adventures with their rugged landscapes, sensational beaches and crystal blue waters. An absolute paradise for nature lovers, hikers and outdoor enthusiasts. Traditional crofting and weaving remain an important part of community life and the locals speak Gaelic. A cultural treasure.

ROYAL DEESIDE

This picture perfect region is comparable to a fairy tale setting, steeped in magnificent landscapes, historical gems and royal connections. Nestled in the Cairngorms National Park, the River Dee flows through beautiful Deeside, abundant in lush forests and rolling green hills. A real haven for hiking, fishing and wildlife spotting. Explore the grounds and gardens of Balmoral Castle, the beloved summer residence of the British Royals. Natural splendour and heritage galore.

AYRSHIRE

Brimming with incredible gems to visit and explore, Ayrshire is located on Scotland’s southwest coast. Discover majestic castles and historic sites, including Culzean Castle, perched atop dramatic sea cliffs. It’s the homeland of our national bard Robert Burns, visit his humble cottage that houses fascinating artefacts including his handwritten manuscripts. Ayrshire is also a golfer's paradise with championship courses, including Royal Troon. A truly vibrant and authentic region.
